Dr Jeff Couzins, DMin, PGDip Psych, GMBPsS, has served as a pastor, evangelist, and mission practitioner for almost three decades. A Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society, he combines theological scholarship, psychological insight, and practical ministry experience in the study of worldview formation and transformation. His work focuses on developing practical frameworks for engaging contemporary culture with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

 

Drawing upon both extensive ministry experience, and psychological study, Dr Couzins examines the relationship between cognition, identity, behaviour, learning, and spiritual formation. This interdisciplinary perspective has played a significant role in shaping his research and writing, designed to help Christians understand the intersection between faith, worldview, and culture and how they can be transformed through evangelism, discipleship, and the work of the Holy Spirit.

Also, before entering pastoral ministry, he worked as an electronics and software design engineer, providing him with a rare interdisciplinary perspective on artificial intelligence, human consciousness, and spirituality. This technical background, combined with theological and psychological training, enables him to approach questions surrounding AI and faith with both critical depth and practical balance

 

His writing integrates theology, psychology, anthropology, and missiology to equip Christian leaders, evangelists, and disciples to engage effectively with the challenges and opportunities of the contemporary world.
